About Marmaris Transport

From April to October charter flights are available from all the major European cities to Izmir, Antalya, Istanbul and Dalaman (the local airport). Winter flights are also now available. Dalaman is a one hour drive from Marmaris. Izmir 4-5 hours. Bodrum 3 hours. During the winter months
We can arrange a transfer from the airport to your hotel and back, either in a Mini Bus or coaches for large groups. Taxis can be taken from the airport at a set rate.

FERRY

During the summer Ferries run daily between Rhodes and Marmaris. To go to Rhodes from Turkey you have to book the day before and present your passport to the travel agency. Ferry Schedules and prices
During the winter the ferries run twice a week weather permitting. |
TAXI
 |
Taxis (locally named taksi) are cheap and plentiful in Marmaris. Be sure to get a quote before you set off on longer journeys. All taxis have meters and a 15% tip is expected.

DOLMUSH
The Dolmush (literally meaning stuffed) is the local minibus. The fares are very cheap and there is a huge network of destinations. You can catch them wherever you want and be dropped off wherever you want. A great cheap way for local sightseeing.
The city centre outside of the local large supermarket Tansas (pronounced Tansash) and the bus station are the main embarkation places.
CAR HIRE

There are an abundance of car and scooter hire companies in Marmaris. We drive on the right and most roads are good, however it you intend to visit the outskirts the roads can be a little rough. If you are arriving in high season please book your car as soon as possible avoid disappointment.
